Hello again.
The first semester is over. We can't change it. Hopefully, you've learned not to wait until the last minute to complete your assignments, to do your best, and that test scores mean nothing if you can't apply the information. It gets harder...not easier. I have to make sure you have the tools you need so you can succeed.
As always, "Grade Keeper," "Reading Log," and "Probe Sheet" for the 3rd Quarter are available here on the site. Assignments are already on GradeSpeed. Don't wait.
"I'm not preparing you for high school. I'm preparing you for college."
Ms. Kharif

And So It Begins |
|
|
|
|
- 3rd Quarter Gradekeeper sheets are due on Friday 1/6/12
- I'll be adding a Book Club Project/Skit to your Gradekeeper. Your group must present a book report and create and act out a skit of one of the scenes from your Book Club Selection. It will be due the first week of March. You'll be called forward just as you were for speeches.

Remember:
- Wear your coat, and leave the shorts at home! It's cold!
- Bring your binder every day to every academic class.
- If you stand around watching someone vandalize the bathrooms or laughing as they talk about what they did to someone, you're just as guilty. It's called an accomplice.
- Racist jokes, and comments aren't funny. Period.
