Welcome to Ms. Kharif's 7th grade class!  Here's what you need to know:

How should I behave?

Classroom Rules

  1. Have all of your class materials with you, and be in your seat on time and ready to learn before class begins.  No. You may not go to your locker.
  2. Once you're in the room, stay there until I dismiss you.
  3. Keep hands, feet, objects, and insults to yourself.
  4. If you don't want your parents to learn about it, don't say it.  Don't do it.
  5. Do not bring candy, gum, drinks, toys, or other inappropriate objects into the classroom unless I've personally told you otherwise.  They will be confiscated and likely trashed.

**** Simply put:  Do your work, and don't do anything that will get you in trouble. ****

Consequences
  1. Fighting, gang activity, and possession of gang paraphernalia, weapons, or illegal substances will not be tolerated.  You WILL be suspended.
  2. Anyone who enters the room after class has begun must sign in, whether or not you have a note.  No note?  You get a lovely writing assignment.  3 times with no note and you get lunch detention as well.  You won't like lunch detention.
  3. The first time you break a rule, you will be warned.  The second time, you get a lovely writing assignment and to call a parent to explain your behavior.  After this, you will be written up.
** Keep in mind that I have the right and tendency to alter punishments as I see fit. **
